This is a list of all 88 constellations. The visibility is given for
observers in mid-northern latitudes
(e.g. the EPO sites Munich, The Hague, Berlin and Vienna).
Location: N...constellation of northern celestial sphere, S...constellation of southern celestial sphere.
An asterisk (*) indicates constellations which are circumpolar and visible all the year in mid-northern latitudes
A minus sign (-) indicates constellations which are never visible from mid-northern latitudes (always below the horizon)
A small letter z indicates that the constellation is one of the 12 zodiacal constellations.
