Comet Snyder-Murakami C/2002 E2

This comet was observed in the morning hours of 5 April, from ca. 3h-5h MESZ.
It appears as a fuzzy globe in the CCD image below (C8, ST8, 1 min exp. time).
An animated GIF (380 kB) shows the movement of the comet relative to the stars within a period of
21 minutes. The bright star to the lower left in the animation is of 10 mag.
The animation is a composite of 15 individual images which were taken in 90-second intervals, each image obtained with a
Celestron C8 and a ST8 CCD camera, 1 min. exposure time.
