9 May 2016: Mercury transit
On 9 May 2016, an observation session organized by the Astro club took place at the EPO skybar in Munich.
The event was well attended, and there was perfect weather for observing the Mercury transit.
Many colleagues brought their instruments for observation.
Giancarlo Lombardi caught the transit with a small Meade telescope, eyepiece projection with a 20mm eyepiece and a Nikon Coolpix 350 camera:

Mercury is the tiny black spot to the upper left on the solar disc.
